Cake: Good!

Okay, downtown Milwaukee on New Years Eve. A few ****tails at Mo's Irish Pub (and some food) The Riverside was packed to the gills. Hor da borse were cleaned up by the time we got there. So we had a couple of ****tails instead. The "Extreme" juggler was good, opening band Maritime, good sort of made me feel like I was watching the Feelies. During the time between the juggler and Cake we went downstairs to check out a band called Scarring Party. Far out and good. A bit of the Leon Redbone sound. Cake came on... never sat down after the first note. We finished at the Blu atop the Pfister Hotel. Eastern view over the lake... more ****tails.
Dug it all the way!

Welcome to 2007.

sounds cool squonk. I have a lot of folks saying Scarring Party is phenom. I've been trying for about 4 months to get things to jibe up where I can catch them somewheres. It'll happen. Blu on New Years! classic! I did that a couple years ago! Nice jazz trio. sounds like a fun time!

Doc, I am at this very moment assembling one pirated copy of the Scarring Party cd. Complete with all the imagery I got with the original cd.
