Everybody here seemed to love "My Name Is Earl". Personally I didn't care for it but I did appreciate how unique it was.
Well, Friday nights ABC has two VERY unique comedies that look great! I'm curious if anyone has seen them yet and what your thoughts are.
KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY is about a group of guys (and one gal) that decide to rob Mick Jaggar. It looks like as time moves on they target other celebrities, but the first episode was really pretty humorous.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY is another really weird one, featuring a lot of good B list actors like Jonathon Silverman and David Arquette. DVR cut half that show off so I didn't see enough to know fully what it's about, but it looks good.
I had the same thought about Knights. That it would be very hard to sustain the premise. But we'll see.
Like I said, with ICE I only saw the first ten minutes, but it has three actors I have always enjoyed, so I think I'll like it regardless of the plot. The first ten minutes definately unique though. I'm excited to find out where it's going.
