Movies that made you cry because they're so BAD!!

Ok, JD gave me the start for this topic.  What's the worst movie you ever saw?   I'd have to say "House of 1,000 Corpses"......my daughter brought this one home, and either I've seen way too many horror films or this one was just plain bad!!

lol i forget most of the titles.....that crazy one with juliet lewis and woody harrelson....if something is so bad, I'll axe it soon instead of suffer!!!

there was one at a little movie theater by my house- from the maker of Run Lola Run...which was a great movie....but this follow-up one was soo soo stupid and bad I got up and walked out. I went one lazy afternoon just bored, wanted to check the theater out, get out of the house, and this dissapointing movie was what I saw....I remember I had grabbed my coat, put in on during my walk up the isle, and someone said to me ( yea....we're not far behind you...)

Back to the Future 2 and 3.... both didn't do any justice to the first one.  I loved Back to the Future the original first one!!

aw that's right sparky!!!

here is another one- Jerry McQuire!! although Rene Zelliwiger (sic?) was stunningly beautiful in that film, it was really the most horrific terrible thing I've ever seen.  It was on sale at the grocery store for like $10, and it was a very snowy night, so I said for a few more bucks than a couple of rentals I can get home quicker and own the film....thinking that is was about the intricacies of being a sports agent...hoping maybe I could learn something.....oh it was soooo soooo bad......

I think I gave it to Riggs so he could see....and even he hated it so bad he gave it to Erica!! lol I think she tried to give it back to Riggs and he wouldn't take it back!!

there was a film that came out a few years ago by Mirimax films (usually really good) called Shultze....about a fat German according player who travels to new orleans for cajun fest and the fun hilarity that is to ensue from the culture shock.....the trailer that made everyone in the theater want to see this film totally totally misrepresented it as a fun joyful treat....when in reality it was a stark odd german film about death!!!!!   at the end of it, everyone just sat their stunned at how bad it was!!!!!!! one girl stood up and apologized to her friends "I am sooo sooo sorry....I thought it would at least.....be SOMEthing....."

Captain Correlli's Mandolin...{{yawn}}. What a pathetic saccharine romance story.

"Run Lola Run" was good. Very exciting and clever.

Millennium
Plot Synopsis by Hal Erickson:
Where has director Michael Anderson been since Logan's Run? Earning his keep on such slick TV-style time-fillers as Millennium. Kris Kristofferson plays the head of an official committee investigating the head-on collision of two commercial jets. A thorough analysis reveals the presence of a weapon of unknown origin in the wreckage; it is also pointed out that some of the victims' watches are running backwards. This, coupled with the cryptic warnings by flight attendant Cheryl Ladd to drop the investigation, prompts Kristofferson to burrow further and uncover the truth: Ladd is a sentinel from 1000 years in the future, who has come back to the 20th Century to help repopulate her dying civilization. Plot pegs and obstacles are in the hands of such sideline characters as enigmatic professor Daniel Travanti and amiable android Robert Joy. Millennium was adapted by John Varley from his own story Air Raid.

Anyone see this? My husband is in love with Cheryl Ladd, and me with Kris Kristofferson, so we figured even if the movie wasn't great, we'll have fun. Well, Kris' acting was reallyb ad, and the dialog was hideous. And we just couldn't finish watching it, which is really really rare for us!

"The Music of Chance" which stars James Spader and Mandy Patinkin, my favorite actor. This movie was so bizare. I'm cool with artsy-strange, but this one was just too weird and hard to understand. Anyone see this who can enlighten me?

Xanadu-  I never saw the movie but had the album.  LOVED that album for years!!!  Just found the CD a while back and had to get it too so I could here all of my old songs again.  I finally rented the movie a few years ago.  It's HORRIBLE!!!  I was expecting Grease and oh... there's just not words to adequately express how bad it was.  Here's one, it was "Crybaby" bad!!

Bad, but in a cheesy way! I still love it. And for New Music Monday, maybe you'd like to request some tracks from that soundtrack, because I sent them in just a few days ago and Riggs has added them!

Awesome!!!! I'm off Monday, but I'll be ready to go Tuesday.  I guess I need to do a thorough A-Z review of the catalog now.  I saw last week where Jeremy said he wasn't putting the "@" symbol on a lot of the new adds because of the extra work entailed.

Oh, I love Earth Girls are easy! But, I love it for the cheesy-ness factor, it is pretty bad.

I was an adult, and I couldn't follow it either.  I think that may be one where you'd need to be familiar with the book, or see the movie multiple times to really "get."  But it sure was fun to see Tim Curry as that little rodent-like kiss-ass!

I didn't get it either. I think you have to know a little bit about how the navy works to be able to follow it.

Actually, I loved the hunt for Red October! But I have to admit, I had trouble seeing Tim Curry as anyone but Dr. Frankenfurter...

Yeah, I have to admit the cheese is what makes it funny. Some movies are so bad they are fun to watch!

Tim Curry has a deliciously wicked smile, doesn't he? {{lol}} It always looks like he knows a naughty secret.

Absolutely.  My best friend thinks he's the sexiest man in the world.  Ugly as hell, but sexy.

He smiles just like the Grinch.  We were stunned when they cast Jim Carrey instead of him.  (He hardly would've needed any make-up - just paint him green & you're 70% there!)

Wow, I never realized that! I just thought it was this awesome, mischievous sneer...again, going back to the Rocky Horror Picture Show, he had a deligthful maliciousness about him.

Moulin Rouge-can't make past the first 20 mins.  Awful.  My kids just love this movie, they have no taste, where did I go wrong.  10 things I hate about you-love Larry Miller the father in the movie. He was the only good thing about it.
