Good morning all!!  I think!!  It's Monday here...sigh!!  And it is still raining.  The streets are flooded and am having to wade knee deep through water to get around.  Fun!!!  Apparently the wet is going to go on for some time!  Anyway enjoy your day!!

WOO HOOO!

This is what I love about football.  EVERY GAME MATTERS!  I love baseball, but I barely care about the playoffs unless my team is in them, which means I never care about the playoffs

So let's see...

New Orleans Saints @ Chicago Bears

I say, 27 - 14 New Orleans Saints.  Now, this isn't just wishful thinking.  The Saints are more talented and Chicago is just due to lose here.  But MAN O MAN am I gonna ENJOY watching those stinky Bears have their hearts broken one step away from the big dance!    GO SAINTS GO!

New England Patriots @ Indianapolis Colts

I hate to go against the Patriots because we all know what a die-hard fan Darlene is.  She's always so sweet and never has anything but nice things to say about people, so it's natural to want good things to happen for her.  She's also probably the person on the forum who cares the most about her sports teams.

However, I'm so sick of the Patriots winning and winning and then winning some more.  It's time this club go through the natural process of a losing cycle and let someone else take their shots at the top.

I like the Colts, but yet at the same time I see Manning as the greatest threat to surpass many of Favres records one day.  I would like it if we could atleast be able to say "Yeah, but Manning never won a superbowl".

Regardless, I say Colts 30 Patriots 27, we'll let Manning lose in the Superbowl

Ok, now that I've laid out the game plans...

LET'S PLAY
FOO' BALL!!!!

Riggs that is sweet.  You know I probably am one of the most loyal sports fans here, and I have to say, that being a New Englander and a Patriot fan we have been blessed w/ a wonderful quarterback, who is not only talented, but probably the best looking one in the NFL, (I LOVE YOU TOM BRADY!!)

My prediction: Patriots 30  Colts 14

I know most of the country wants to see Manning win...and he is even whining about not selling his tickets to anyone other than Colts fans...wahhh wahhh wahhh!  I can see how a lot of people think like you do Riggs......   But I surely hope Manning goes down today, and chokes the damn chicken, again!

Now with that said,  LET'S PLAY SOME FOO' BALL!!!

D-

The Pats are a VERY difficult team to dislike.  They have a great quarterback that just goes about his business.  They don't act like prima donna's.  It's a club with very little flash but a lot of substance.  It says something about your team when the ONLY reason people can think to root against them is that they've been "too successful".

As long as the Bears lose today I'll be a happy man.  That's all I ask for, a Bears loss

It's ok Darlene, nothing is more painful than making it to the big dance and being embarassed, so on February 4'th I'll be a happy, happy man!

In the meantime I found out that Bears victories are a GREAT diet plan!  Everytime they scored I lost my lunch!  And since the game ended I have no appetite!
