Well the funeral went nicely. Lunch afterwards with the family. They're a good bunch but, humans in general, crack me up. The things that come up in conversation.... and during meal time! My mom always yelled at us about that. (I won't go in to details)

howdy, y'all... yesterday's 75* was just a tease; today looking at 40*. first field practice last night. the boy's need help. they are all out of shape and were about goofing off! weather is turning foul again, so to the batting cage on saturday. i think i will suggest basketball at the recreation center until the weather turns warmer. at least that would get their hearts pumping. they are the titans, but coach wants to change it. i like titans. i think it should remain. this is a case where what i think doesn't count -- i'm just the driver.

I forgot to mention that the girl's step-grandma died Sunday and we will be going to the viewing tonight. This weekend is the anniversary of the girl's step-dad's death. Then I was just told that an ex-staff of mine passed away at 44. I looked up the funeral home and they are both at the same place. However Peggy's (staff) viewing isn't until Thursday. I wasn't close with either person, but it all feels a little weird.

My mother-in-law is in town for her sister's funeral, the one I refered to before. Turns out that two other people she knows passed away and are having services at the same church, different days this week. (she may be the angel of death? I'm not sure anymore.)
