Morning sir. Thanks for the kind words. I am glad to have a diversion from my problems, and I love this little boy like my own anyway. Emily tells him that she is gonna marry him one day. I am just praying that her death was an accident. There is a little girll too, she is only 7. I am glad to be able to be here for them and hope that my son will be a big help too.

Oh you took a big step- congrats! She is a lucky lady.

Our winter has been okay. We have had some real cold weather lately, but still only one brief snow flurry- that was in November though. It is usually in the 60s, but has been in the 40s and 50s lately.

Goood morning!!  Happy Thursday!  Tis Friday here in an hour.

I've had a stinking hot day here today...so hot I couldn't handle it this arvo and decided to take a quick dip in the sea...the water was so clear so I could keep an eye out for crocs but still I only ventured knee deep.

Another hot day expected ahead, am working from home again and have another trip to the hospital!  Let's hope my petrol does not get stolen/siphoned out of my car again like today which resulted in having to hitchhike into town to get more fuel.

Anyway have a lovely day! 

Hello everyone.  I couldn't get in my car this morning, it was frozen shut, and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes once I did open my doors for the ice to melt off my windows. 

But I'm here at work now, just waiting patiently for my coffee to arrive.  

Rubes that is a horrible sorry.  I hope you are doing okay....  I'm thinkin' of you and your loved ones today.

Hello all! Back at work today. It brrrr cold here too but warmer than Web's neck of teh woods. With the wind chill it is -13 out. Hubby got our driveway snowblowed and then broke the machine. This is the first time he has used it since he got it from his parents. Wasn't very familiar with it- lol. Oh well.

Jules- JD used to start a parade everyday! However work has interfered I believe.

Oh man, we're going the wrong way. -12 acutal temp now.

Everyone here got where we're supposed to be, but man is it bitterly cold.

Sheesh, -14 now.

Well, I wouldn't want to be in your heat either. Surely somewhere in between us it has to  be pretty nice. Hawaii maybe?

I'd rather be in the heat.

Today is just going lovely (read that with sarcasm).  2 days out of the office, even when working from home, is hard to catch up on.  On top of that, I have people telling me how to do my job, and it's just very annoying.

You got a sweet tooth?  Every candy imaginable is 50% off at your local Walgreens with one caveat, it's all wrapped in white, pink & red.

Lookin' for that special little gift for yourself or a loved one?  All the department stores have those little trinkets, pillows, stuffed animals and other items they were pushing for Valentines day marked anywhere from 50% to 70% off today.

I've often thought that if you could wait a year to open yourself a little thrift-shop you could do quite well just buying all the holiday clearance stuff from the big retailers and then put it in your store at regular price the following year.

Better yet, you could actually BEAT the price of the local retailer the next year and still make a handsome little profit (of course, that wouldn't work with the candy).
