Favorite thing at a Greek restaurant?

We ate Greek last night- I got my usual- Chios platter- greek salad, gyro meat, dip and pita. Once again nothing grabbed me as better. I have to have the gyro meat- it is one of my faves!

Not a fan of lamb, so I don't go there.  Though I do understand that Tasso's has a great bar.

I loooove Souvlaki!!

I also love Dolmades, Spanakopites, & Eggplant Moussaka!  And I always finish with an Ouzo when at a restaurant!

My favorite thing at the Greek restaurant is the serving size.  You don't have to eat for the next 24 hours after they feed you

Ugh,

The Greek place by our house has this "family" band that comes in for holidays.

It's like uncle Gus, his wife & four kids.  Gus walks around singing while the others play instruments.

VERY ANNOYING

I always end up with gyros too. The best gyros in Bloomington are at International Market. It's not that I'm afraid to try something else, I just love gyros and can't pass them up!

I work within walking distance of Greektown in Chicago- a strip of many Greek restaurants, stores, bars, etc.  The best wine I ever had in my life was at "Pegasus" and I can't remember the name of it.

I always go for the Spinach Pie.  Nummy!
