Just got back from Juan's Mexicali- a new restaurant. My husband called it Juan Pablos- my new driver! Now I am hiding in my room for some me time.

This weekend we are emptying the kids rooms to start remodeling- painting, building shelves, and maybe replacing flooring. Might be moving soon, if not still needed to be done.

We are beginning the "update the house" thing too.  Painting and new carpet by the end of June is the plan.  Updating the bathrooms and kitchen by the end of the year.  then maybe start looking to move.  I want my basement again...at least a bonus room.  Somewhere for my bar and all my sports stuff.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, we have redone our master bathroom and the extra bedroom in the last year. Also redid the parents whole house last year, that was a pain! It hasen't been remodeled in 30 years!

Still on hold, we will start looking again when spring hits. We still go out once in a while and look on the weekends but it sucks during the winter. Everything looks so drab.

Yeah I was very paranoid the whole time! I took it off because it did not fit my bike right and I hit hit feet sometimes and I was afraid of falling.

I'm getting serious.  I spent about $900 for the bike and gear to go with it.  I can't believe all the fitting that now goes into it.  But for the money I guess you should get something.  A couple of friends convinced me to go for the better bike.  From what I've seen so far I think this is going to be a good move.  I'm planning on riding 50 - 100 miles a week and be up to 200 by the fall.  I'm looking forward to it.

This is my $700 bike....

We're doing ok here, Ray.

Really nasty day though. 20's and 30+ mph winds with flurries. Not enough to build up but going outside sucks.

Tomorrow morning a bunch of us are going to start building a new sound booth at our church. It will be fun working with my friends and it will be nice having the new, better organized place for all the sound equipment.

......oh yeah.....it's aluminum with some carbon fiber in it.  I did buy the shorts, shoes, Bell helmet, flat kit and water bottle.  I'm ready for the road.  I just hope I don't over do it on the first ride.  I just have to remember where ever I go I'm only half way home.
