Ugh, What do we DO with these people?

The past two weeks it seems like everytime I read the news it's a new low.

Last night they showed video of local men videotaping themselves as they got their 2 & 4 year old nephews to smoke marijuana.

Today there's this story about some idiot who stabbed his wife and then had his two year old son get in on the act.

SERIOUSLY, what do we do with these worthless peices of sh*t?!?!  How and when are we going to start taking this crap seriously and PUNISH THEM BEYOND ALL REASON!

Enough already!

---

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Police say a man repeatedly stabbed his teenage wife, then gave the knife to his toddler son and told him: “Now you stab Mommy.”

Fermin Rodriguez, 21, attacked his 17-year-old wife Sunday night, after accusing her of cheating on him, police said. He slashed and stabbed her multiple times, then handed the knife to his 2-year-old son and told him to stab her, police said.

Police would not say whether the boy did as his father said.

Rodriguez was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree unlawful restraint and threatening. He was being held on $350,000 bond.

His wife, Keyschla Rodriguez, was taken to a hospital for treatment of stab wounds to her chest, face, arms and legs. Her condition was unavailable Tuesday morning.

It's crazy to think what kind of person raised the child to be like that. Then, even worse... what kind of a child will their child raise. I always hope that all the time I spent with my son has shown him at least some respect for others, other people's lives, his own life. These people are raised in a paranoid, disrespectful world. Even in houses where the family is well off, lawyers, doctors etc the parent just does put in some good face time. Look at our childhood games, toys etc. What's out there now?
Not much imagination.
Nobody can lose anymore.
Everybody has some kind of excuse to not contribute.
Take care of yourself. Be good, truly. Each person. Think of the kids in Iraq. How will they be if they make it back. I don't know what I would do if I had to live in that environment.
My neighborhood so quiet. Of course, our mall (Mayfair) is dangerous. The news people tell me so.

Sometimes I feel suprised by the news and other days I'm not suprised at all.  My hubby Greg refuses to watch the news half the time. He only does it because I want to. I used to wonder why people hate the news......I'm starting to understand.

I keep trying to remind myself that for every one moron that makes the news for some crazy reason, there's probably 10,000 people that never make the news because they live ordinary lives.

But sometimes it get's to me, and this week has been bad. It just seems like everytime I turn on the TV or read the online news someone out there is hitting a new low for humanity.

The babies smloking pot was indeed an eye-opener.  Riggs, how is the full time radio thing going? Is it all good, not driving?
