While dropping the boy off at school this morning, I noticed the sun trying to fight its way through the clouds. When I first noticed it, the sun was peeking through below the clouds but I couldn't get to where I could get a decent pic in time. I knew the dog would enjoy a little run so we went to the park and took a few photos.
These were taken between 8:00 and 8:20am this morning (Friday).
Even though we are hundreds and thousands of miles apart, when we all look up, we see the same sun. (Well, Jules can't see it right now, but she can see it when it comes around to her again)
Yes, those are cows just across the fence from the city park.
Behind me from where I was standing is a little pond. It was steaming which looked pretty cool.

In the summer when I'm up at our cottage, I love to wake up early, head down to the dock with my coffee, and sit there watching the mist rise off the lake while the loons call to each other. What a peaceful way to start the day.
