I think the problem with JD spilling 18 ounces of his 20 ounce beer into the keyboard was that it was a wireless keyboard (you know, the EXPENSIVE ones ). So it shorted everything out and it wouldn't work anymore.

I still think the best part of that night was the fact he didn't say anything about it to me. He thought he had it all cleaned up, and I came in and lifted the keyboard only to have what honestly seemed like a half cup of beer come dripping out of one end onto the floor.

It was a scene that would have fit perfectly in a sitcom

He wanted SOOOOOOO badly to pay for the keyboard, but I insisted that he not do that.

Whatever you do Ruby, DO NOT turn your keyboard over!! I've read before that the circuits for your keyboard are actually towards the top, so if you ever spill something on it, to just let it dry out.

I already did. But I had to- it was a pool- a whole 8 oz of water. If it dies, I could not have them come in here and see that.

Whenthe Tecchies appeared they said that any drink with milk in was worst. they said if it happened again to take the keyboard to the sink and hold it under a running tap to give it a good rinse

Really, well then cool. The rest of the day- no problems, so tomorrow if it comes on fine- then I should be good!
