A Motorcycle Enthusiasts Final Ride!

I was going to Best Buy yesterday when I was delayed by a funeral procession.

It's the first time I ever saw one that used a motorcycle with the trailer below attached for a hearse...

It was kind of cool, and a little weird to see the casket on display like that.  There were about 12 bikes after it and probably 50 cars in the procession.

It was the sloppiest procession I ever saw by the way.  The cars were spaced way too far apart and were speeding to keep up with each other.  They held up two traffic light signals because they were so poorly spaced.

But ANYWAY, the point is, kind of neat to go to your final resting place in your very own pope-mobile

Very unusual. Was it warm enough to be riding there yesterday?

It was mid-30's.

Our 'sconsin bikers are tough.  They'll be out riding in 20 degree weather as long as the snow is off the street.

Keep in mind, a SMART Wisconsin rider has a heated seat, heated handgrips, and good leather/gear for keeping them warm on cold days!

This is a neat example of how the forum affects my everyday life.

The first person I thought of when I saw this was you G-Gal!  Right away I thought "I gotta find a picture of this and post it" knowing it would be right up your alley.

Now if it weren't for the forum you think I'd be hangin' around with any bikers?

Most likely not

{{lol}} So true. I mean, how many bikers can say they know a DJ/station manager that they've never actually met? Hahaha! Thanks for sharing this info by the way, it IS interesting and my chums here at Harley are very intrigued by it.
