It was 89 here yesterday, but I was inside so I did not enjoy it! We finished the girls rooms and the hall in between- the shelves are up and all! Now we just need to put them back together. E will finally have a big girl bed- now we'll see if she sleeps in it.

I should be busy today :(

Supposed to get to 74 today! However I believe it is gonna rain for like the next month.

Good morning all.  It's currently 62 here, sun is shining right now, making it a beautiful morning for a change.  My 17 yr. old daughter got her first car yesterday.....it was given to her by a friend of our's.....'85 Ford Escort Hatchback, body is in really good condition for the age of the car and it runs perfect, so it won't be eating up money every time we turn around.  It's a 4 speed manual tranny, which she doesn't know how to drive, so I spent a few hours yesterday teaching her how to drive it.....she'll need a little more clutch practice before she hits the road, but she did ok considering it was her first time with a stick shift.  Anyway, she's ecstatic to finally have her own car.  I'm thinking an extra driver in the house, errand runner, yippee!!!  Hmmm....wonder how she'll feel about picking her sister up from school for me now that she has her own car????

Morning...I can see that this day is a total loss already. Little A got sick yesterday and is still sick today. She has a fever..and its coming out both ends.




Darlene how hard is it to find out why someone was in prison?

Depends what state u r from, here in MA you do a BOP on them, (Board of Probation) check, it tells any adult and juvenile court appearence they have ever had, what they were charged with and the final dispostion.....

I live in SD and just found out I have an ex-con living two houses away...only out since Wednesday....I just want to know what he did. I am sure he isnt too scary but I would just feel better knowing.

Call local PD, when an inmate is going to get released they usually notify the PD in the city/town where they are going to. At least they do here.....

Tonight our company is having a dinner for dollars fundraiser at Sparkies Grill. This is the first time that we can actually go! They always schedule these things on the days we had 2nd jobs. I believe awhile back Sparky asked me to get him a napkin from this place. We shall see what they got printed!
