Well, the interview went really well! I've got the feeling I'm the only candidate. She told me more about the company and really didn't ask many interview type questions. It was more a, "this is what we do and what the job entails" than a "what can you do?" The general manager, who I had the interview with, has been trying to fill in the position until they get someone, and she kept trying to explain the position but admitted she didn't know what some stuff meant, and kept making comments like, "But you know all about that." She's also having the person who used to have the position come in special just to talk to me and explain things better. So it really wasn't much of an interview at all.
The place looks really good to work for, and I think I'd like the job, but the pay is a bit lower than what I was hoping for. More entry level pay for an experienced position. So I don't know if I'd take it yet.
Just a reminder that this is the week that I have to cover for the coworker who will be on vacation. So I may not be around as much in the am. But that seems to be a trend around here lately.
