POISON, RATT (featuring original lead singer Stephen Pearcy), VINCE NEIL and Y&T are among the acts that are expected to appear at Rocklahoma, a three-day outdoor '80s hard rock festival, set to take place July 13-15, in Pryor, OK at the Pryor Festival Grounds. The following is a partial list of bands that are **rumored*** to be taking part in the event:

Rocklahoma will be hosted by radio personality and VH1 Classic VJ Eddie Trunk, who will officially announce the lineup for the festival today (Tuesday, March 27) during a press conference at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California.

I want to go!!

I went to the Monsters of Rock concert back in 98, Poison, Ratt, LA Guns, Great White and Firehouse. It was one of the best concerts I have ever been to!

I CANT WAIT FOR THIS CONCERT. LUCKILY PRYOR IS ONLY LIKE 45 MINUTES AWAY FROM HOME.  sometimes it pays to live in Oklahoma.

Rocklahoma Announces 2008 Lineup: Bret Michaels, Kix, Warrant

The Rocklahoma Festival announced their roster today at a press conference in Los Angeles. The festival, which will take place July 10-13 in Pryor, Oklahoma, will boast performances by Bret Michaels, Cinderella, Warrant, Tesla and reunions of Armored Saint and Kix among others. The festival also proclaimed that a few more major bands will be added to the lineup in the coming days, but as of now are unconfirmed. Also, in order to see Bret Michaels and the rest of the Thursday bands, you must purchase three-day passes for the festival. The full, tentative lineup is after the jump.

Oh man - poor Tom.  He sounded so horrendous and was having such problems "singing" the last time I saw them.  It was actually hard to watch.  (But I did get some great shots...  Sigh..)

CMON Down LS You can get good airfare and Hotel Rooms are not OVerly Expensive ( Depending on where you stay. )

WARRANT / CINDERELLA TOUR - CANCELLED:

The Cinderella/Warrant/Lynch Mob/Lynam tour has been cancelled.
The official statement from Cinderella's manager, Tim Heyne reads: "It's with unbelievably deep regret that I must announce that Cinderella's Tom Keifer's left vocal cord has hemorrhaged, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future.
Tom felt his throat give way last night (June 11) finishing the set in pre-production rehearsals, went to his vocal doctor (Dr. Stephen Mitchell) in Nashville this morning, and was told the grim news. In the short term,Tom's doctor told him it would be two to three weeks before the swelling and damage would recede to a point to where an assessment can be made as to whether surgery will be required.  Consequently, and again, most regretfully, we have no choice but to postpone the upcoming Cinderella tour until such time as Tom is ready tour again."
