Sami's still sick, and I stayed up with her again last night. We're having a really hard time giving her the medicine. I think she's afraid to put anything in her mouth because everything makes her throw up. We've been good for the past 5 hours though, so that's a good sign. I haven't been able to get her to drink any water yet though. Hopefully later today...

The lack of sleep and stress is getting to me, and I'm not in a very good mood today.

Happy Sunday everyone!

I have not been around for a few days.  Been busy moving into my new Bungalow on the beach!!!! smilesmilesmile  I have a new place to live, much nicer than before!  I have a view of the ocean, step outside onto the beach and incredible views of the sunset!  It really is picturesque!!  And what luxury...I get meals cooked for me!  No more cooking though I love to cook more than anything!

Anyway, I hope you are all having a happy day!  It's my day off so I am in bliss!!  smilesmilesmile

Thanks JD!  smile  I knew I made the right decision to come here to Weipa!!  In the end it is starting to pay off for me!  And oh man...$50.00 per week rent!  I cannot complain!!!  The community have embraced me and my values so I feel very much a part of this place now!

I do work up to 35 hours a week with this little endeavour of mine ontop of my regular working week so you don't know how much of a relief it is to have meals catered for!!  And on my days off I can now enjoy this beautiful little place!  So wonderful!  And I have the perfect place to do my artwork now...which I indeed have a class this evening!!

Oh I always find time for my art...though I do not have free time to just sit there and do nothing anymore these days!  I should be doing my artwork right now but I've caught up everything and I seem to be breezing through everything!  It's great to be constantly active but some days I just wanna sit on my backside and do nothing!  LOL I don't even have a tv anymore so I'm always doing something anyway!  I love my life though it has offered me many challenges!

LOL if you like fishing you are going to wanna come here!  LOL I walk directly outside onto the beach to fish now!  I have my own little shady coconut tree shaded little beach.  Gonna get me a hammock to string between the trees!

Ellie is 10 this year.  She's actually half Yorkie and half Maltese.  She weighs around 14 lbs so she's not the typical small Yorkie. 
Today she's been hobbling around.  Her left rear leg is bothering her.  If she doesn't get better by tomorrow I'll be taking her to the vet.

LOL Ray, I'm pathetic at fishing!  I always feel sorry for them cry and release the fish back into the sea!  The fishermen here are disgusted with me!  cry

But you can't snorkel here!  Can't go into the water!  So the most you can do is just laze on the beach and just get prepared to run from a crocodile!!  biggrin

I think I could do that.  I've never run with the bulls but I bet running from the Crocs is just as dangerous.
