Why do Guys have to.......................

Smell every container they open after they open it???

A guy I work with just got some Macaroni Salad from a local Deli, and he opened the container, and first thing he did was smell it....  Every guy I have ever met, seems to do this.. Why?

I not only smell it, I check the date of everything and then when I am eating I examine for insects. hmm
But I have had severe food poisoning, found bugs in my food and eaten moldy bread. doh

Me neither Mz... my BF asked me a month or so ago, if I ever farted, because in 2 1/2 years he doesn't recall me ever doing it in front of him......

I'll admit, I fart, I burp (though I never burp like my husband does!). But are men just gas producing machines?

Oh my...I'm picturing men right now as humans walking in their own toxic cloud (kinda like Pigpen from Charlie Brown). Hahaha! You know, I can't recall dating any men who were all that intestinally challenged...

I think it depends on how long you're together. I don't remember my husband becoming a big gas producer until we got married.

No, not because he farts, , but because I'm cynical about getting remarried again, the only reason to marry is if you are going to have children, or for religious reasons, which are fine, but I'm not having more children, and in the eyes of the Catholic church I'm a sinner because I got divorced.  I was married 14 years, I'm just not ready yet.

Really? I have a very romanticized view about marriage. It is about celebrating the commitment between two people in my eyes, regardless of children, religion, etc. But it is nothing to take lightly - I can understand why you'd feel like you're not ready yet.

Cheating works both ways, and can usually be avoided if both parties are truely honest with each other about their romantic feelings about other poeple.
I saw something about Will Smith and His wife(can't spell her name) and how they keep it going by being honest with each other so they don't get jealouse

I think as men age, the pressure to be an alpha male, to be the stud among his friends ends- that is, if the guy isn't a freakin bonehead. values change. one starts to think less and less about appearances and perceptions, keepin up with the Jone's etc etc....all this internalized pressure supposedly driven and drawn from the outside society, and care more about values like honesty, love, simplicity. ya start thinkin less with your jolly bits and more with your brain.smile
lol feel less with your hands and more with your heart...

Cheating has less to do with age, Some poeple just can't be honest with themselves enough to work on some thing that is in a state of confusion or placidity(?). I have heard all the same excuses from poeple I have know that cheat, and I wish I could help them out then as well as I feel I can now. It does take some effort on both parts, but I feel that the end result is better than 1 person or both cheating in a relation ship.
