Dieticians are there for our health, you just need to work with them so that they can satisfy your needs and wants. (foodwise)

LOL you'd freak out more at the cane toads!  There have been sightings of cane toads big as a small pig!  But yeah...I go beserk when one of those grasshoppers suddenly jumps on me!  I go to great extents to take a long way around something if there happens to be one around at the time!  But here, people aren't scared of them...not like I am...and some take great pleasure in chasing me around with them.  LOL I never knew I could run so fast!!!  So scary how big insects are up here!

I am embarassed to admit I inherited my mom's obsession with Christmas movies and I sing in the car all the time like her. Oh it's sooooo bad!

do you keep noticing things you do that are just like your mother would have said/done?

I have noticed more of those things since I had Allison than ever before...I just shake my head and laugh.

Incessantly...I enact the same dramatic reactions when I watch movies, sing like she does, cuss at crazy drivers like she does...the list goes on. Do you see little A picking up on some of your mannerisms?

I don't think that's too strange, Jules.  A lot of people don't do well with insects, and grasshoppers, though harmless, are kinda freaky looking.

Praying mantis - there's another freaky looking insect - similar to grasshoppers, only bigger.  My mom gets freaked out by them, because she was raised Catholic, and they just have some of the weirdest superstitions!  As a kid, there was one sitting on her windowsill, and it was creepy, and she didn't like it sitting there staring at her, but because the insect was "praying", it was considered desrepectful to god or something to shoo it away.    And if any of you have ever spent any time with this insect, you'll know they don't move a round a whole heck of a lot.  So it was sitting there in her bedroom window rigfht by her bed...  for days... and she was all like having nightmares about it and stuff.  Gee, for the life of me, I just can't figure out how she got this mantis complex...
