Jules wrote: I'm embarassed to say that I have a fear of grasshoppers!  LOL I have a big ol crocodile that has made itself at home near my back stairs during the day and I named him Wally and I'm scared of a freakin grasshopper!I don't think that's too strange, Jules.  A lot of people don't do well with insects, and grasshoppers, though harmless, are kinda freaky looking.

Praying mantis - there's another freaky looking insect - similar to grasshoppers, only bigger.  My mom gets freaked out by them, because she was raised Catholic, and they just have some of the weirdest superstitions!  As a kid, there was one sitting on her windowsill, and it was creepy, and she didn't like it sitting there staring at her, but because the insect was "praying", it was considered desrepectful to god or something to shoo it away.    And if any of you have ever spent any time with this insect, you'll know they don't move a round a whole heck of a lot.  So it was sitting there in her bedroom window rigfht by her bed...  for days... and she was all like having nightmares about it and stuff.  Gee, for the life of me, I just can't figure out how she got this mantis complex...

Thanks LS!  You know I have the same fear of Praying Mantis as well!!  My whole family does.  LOL my mum filled us full of fear and superstition as kids as well!  And I know it may sound stupid but she freaked us out by saying that if you saw a praying mantis come into the house and it had a grain of rice in its mouth...there would be a death in the family!  Oh man...that used to freak us out!!!  I don't have the same fear anymore but I do think they are just plain freaky looking and I do avoid them as much as grasshoppers still!  biggrin

I am still flexible- thank God and I can't whistle but I can swim!

But I don't like things with wing spans- mainly birds, but butterflies and moths and such freak me out.

I am embarassed to say that I had an owl attack me when I was 5- hence the fear.

My son is going to fail at least three classes this year.

How 'bout all of it?  Naw, this will be mostly InDesign with 4 color (but probably some 1 and 2 color) printing.  But I've never had to go as far as prepress.  Usually I'd just send my files to specs to the printer and they do the rest.  So I really don't know what I don't know.  I think I'm going to stop by the library tomorrow to pick up a book.

I'm embarassed to say I caught myself talking in my sleep today. I took a short nap and woke up just as I was finishing saying something about Chitchen Itza? I have no idea where that came from...but it was funny!

If I were wealthy enough to call the resort-style abodes my home, I'd so love it. I really love exploring the ruins, too. It takes your breath away. Anf there's this sink hole that is sooooo beautiful and perfect swimming in the rainforest! The water just glows turquois...I miss it all!
