RE: I'm Embarrased to say Thread...

I was a closet dancer for the most part. unless I actually had a dance to attend.

laughing.gif Don't be embarassed Woo, I think many of us have our goofy dancing moments. When I went to college in PLatteville I was employed by a local bar to teach line dancing - not the country kind, but the pop stuff that was popular in the 90's like the Electric Slide, Oh What a Night and Strokin'. They hired me just because I knew all that stuff and the college kids liked those crummy dances. It is a chapter of my life best forgotten {{lol}}

Well, I knew the "Thriller" & "Love Is a Battlefield" dances & would do them along with the video.

Oh, and the Brady Bunch's numbers.

All fun to sing and dance along to!

I'm embarrassed to say that before I cut my hair, I would often get my hair stuck in the track of my excercise machine. You would think that after doing it once that I would remember to pull my hair up. But no.gif

I'm embarrased to say that I didn't know there was a limit on "counting down" between waiting for responces to posts I've made

I'm embarrassed to say I have virtually no athletic ability. Even worse, I go through at least one set of speakers in my truck every year in an attempt to drown out my own singing. Alas, I could not carry a tune if it had handles.. yet for some reason singing along with the radio calms me when I'm nervous.

I'm there with ya Mema, on both counts, except I just live with the speakers I have. I'm also very clumsy and always figured I could never be a dancer. But the Tai Chi I've been doing is helping my self confidence a bit there. I can do more of the spins and kicks than other people in my class, and a few people have complimented me on my ability and gracefulness.

Hehehee...I'm currently debating new speakers.   It is definitely time.  My back ones are probably okay. The one in my driver's side door only works intermittently and the passenger door speaker pops and hisses.

I considered trying kick-boxing, but I'm pretty sure I'd only end up kicking myself.  I only dance when I believe myself to have rhythm... which occurs typically after about drink number 4.

I usually need 6 or so drinks or a good reason for dancing.
I am gracefull enough, I just never learned anything but white boy and basic slow dance

I was told that counting alot was gettin peeps anoyed, but that was what I do between posting something and waiting for a responce from those that are on.
I try and respond as quick as I can when posting back and forth with someone else

Hehehe... I can't stop me no matter how bad I sing.  I'm just debating on whether to buy new speakers or a whole new truck.  I'll end up with the speakers, but I really really want the new truck.

I'm embarrassed to say that I found my missing sunglasses in my purse yesterday! doh
They are the magnetic kind. I have been missing them for months. I searched my purse, coats, room ,etc. When I was looking for my flash drive in my purse I found them. My husband of course gave me crap. I though you looked in there? Then followed that up with- I guess I should of looked for them in your purse- sending in a blind woman.... hmm

I almost bought a new pair yesterday! I passed because they were $15!

I shared this one with Mz earlier . . .

The stylus on my cellphone/pocketPC sometimes gets a little lose and will start to slide out of its slot. I don't want to lose it so its has become habit that I occasionally reach down and make sure its not working its way out. I think I do it now without even thinking about it.

Anyway, it was a while ago on a Saturday, and I was at the church talking to a friend and doing some work around there. While standing there talking to this friend, I reached down and my PocketPC was not in the holster. Immediately my mind started racing, "Where did I lay it down?" "Where did I use it last?" "Did I leave it at home?" "Did I leave it in the van?". This is NOT a cheap device.

I got myself calmed down, thought a little bit more and then remembered that the cellphone I was looking for was what I was using to talk to my friend. It was in my other hand pressed against the side of my head.

You're probably right.

I didn't really do that. I was just feeling left out so I made that story up so I'd have something to post.

Yeah . . . that's it.
