Do you have a theme song or a song that really makes you laugh? Or maybe one or two that have a particularly good memory attached to them?

I was an odd ball...I like certain songs not really a type of music. I listened to everything under the sun. I have Hairbands...I have country...oldies....techno...disco....rap...you name it I listened to it. Thats why its so hard to come up with 10 favorites.

Yeah, that would be pretty hard. You could pick 2 from each music type for starters maybe?

Wow, I would probably be stumped trying to come up with 100 favorites!!!

Maybe not worry so much about "favorites" but just pick some stuff ya like.  A suggestion - check out the Quick Picks to maybe remind you of some stuff you wouldn't have thought of otherwise.  Or peruse through your record collection, until 10 artists strike your fancy.

Prolly not.... it is way to hard for FFR

BTW... I had requested Judas Priest earlier for you to get a sample...... but then realized you weren't on.
The JP version of Johnny be good. one of my favs, but not totally their style so to speak.
I asked for Electric eye to be put on...... but????
We'll see

Well I would, but I think a majority of my stuff would be way too heavy. Was just thinkin hair stuff an JP usually pops in my head......I love them from that era, they were just off radio enough, but still mainstream enough too

JP is a hair harder than like most hair metal, it comes down to who was hot, and less about music and talent those years. JP and Iron maiden had a similar amount of guitar as most hair bands, but didn't fall into hair band status. They had less slow songs on their albums.

OMG, I am not hearing this conversation!

We have all requested that Riggs add some more Judas Priest, because someone would always request the silly cover.  I have the entire catalog of JP including all solo projects, but for some reason, Riggs didn't seem very excited about jumping on the MetalGod bandwagon.

'tis true. No new music is really being added right now, as I'm busy with other things.

But overall we're trying to move the station away from heavy metal anyway. Our top priority has to be the average joe in the average cube in the average office.

The more diverse our playlist has gotten the fewer listeners we've maintained.

It's ironic. Everyone likes to b*tch and moan about broadcast radio being too narrowly defined, yet the vast majority flock to the crap because they don't like the variety of a station like ours. They hear two songs in a row they don't recognize and switch back to someone else.
