I've always wanted to see The Rolling Stones. I've never been to one of their concerts. The last time they played near me, the cheapest ticket was $115.00 and that was for a seat way up in the nosebleed section. I couldn't afford to go.
David Bowie. He doesn't come to town often, and usually when he does, I can't afford tickets. Last time he came, I tried as hard as I could to win tickets from a local radio station, but no luck.

Marky had a good connection, and saw him at a small club - my favorite club, actually, a few years ago. Must've been awesome!

You know, I'm sure Lady Strange is going to come to this thread and go: seen it, seen it, seen it...
No way, Jose! There are a lot of artists I've never seen live, but want to!

Would you believe I have never been to a concert in my life? so anything would be good but I would love to see the White Stripes or Red Hot Chilli Peppers

We're gonna have to take up a collection for Ultimo so he can have the experience of seeing a live concert!!!
Aerosmith puts on a great show.....I've seen them 4 different times. Def Leppard, once. Sorry you couldn't see them Woo!!
Not the biggest Aerosmith fan in the world, so have not seen them live, although my husband has many times, and tells me that Steven really is that good live- as he seems on TV.
I've seen DL a few times, but never with their original lineup, which makes me very very sad, and is a huge regret of mine. On the High 'N Dry tour, they opened for Judas Priest, & I really wanted to go, but I was young, and missed the boat. I was really sad when Pete Willis left the band. I did however see them twice on the "Pyromania" tour, twice on "Hysteria" tour, then I was 'done.' When Steve died, my favorite 2-guitarist HM band had no more original guitarists, and it changed everything.
Plus Joe can't sing anymore. And once Vivian Campbell traded in guitar god status to play over-produced pop, it became completely ridiculous! I mean, what in the hell is that all about, anyway?!
Sigh.... I need to hears me some real DL. (Good thing it fits in with our theme today!)

I would really love to reply to this Ultimo, but I'm afraid I cannot, as I have just DIED from shock!

LS......Aerosmith really is that good live!! First time I saw them was right after "Get Your Wings" album was released.......Foghat opened for them (they were really good at the time too)........last time I saw them was after "Permanent Vacation" came out. They only improved with age!
Thinking back on all the concerts I've attended has made me realize how truly shocking ticket prices are now. I saw so many great, great shows for less than $7.00 a ticket.....average price used to be $5.00. Most expensive concert I went to at the time was $22 for an all day and night show which featured Cheap Trick, Bob Segar, Van Halen, Blue Oyster Cult, REO Speedwagon, Rush, Uriah Heap, Ted Nugent, and an "unknown" U2 opening the show. Those were the days!!!
