Good day all. I ended up feeling sick all day yesterday, but I think I'm feeling better today. I must've picked up a little stomach bug or ate something I was allergic to.

A huge wind storm hit us in the middle of the AM on Monday, and we didn't have power all day yesterday. It was out from 5AM till 8PM Monday. My house was freezing, and I didn't have to work yesterday, due to the holiday. So my BF and I went to the gym in the AM, came home, still no power, so then we went to the 99 Restaurant to watch the Red Sox game at noon, till the end. Came home, still no power, went to visit my mother, came home still no power, so then we went to UNO's for dinner... what is an expensive day, eating and drinking out all day long.

Anyway, back to work today, and here I am.

Well we are officially staying at the house we are in now. After checking one final house, my husband called the landlord to make sure that we could stay another year. So now we are talking about the changes we want to make around here.

I have also been debating on whether I will buy my bare minerals foundation or get new contacts. I think I will wait until I get my haircut to make that decision. After I cut it I may be scrambling to try and find something to distract me if I don't like it!!

Howdy Folks,

We have a chance of a few showers here today. Its going to be a little cooler than yesterday too.

I'm home with the boy today because it is "Kindergarten Roundup" at school. This fall's Kindergartners can come and see the school and meet the teacher they will have.

The pastor of our church is taking me and another guy out for lunch. This is in appreciation of the work we did on the new sound booth. The two of us put in about 90% of the hours to get it done and he is showing us some appreciation. Its not necessary, and we didn't expect it, but it is always nice to feel appreciated. Our former pastor never would have done anything like this.

Now I just have to decide what I'm going to do with the rest of the day.

You couldn't get a lobster in this town even if you wanted to. smile.gif

We are going to the steak place though. wink.gif

Darlene can probably get lobster easier than the rest of us. In fact, there's probably only 2 places in the state that I'll get lobster from, and the closest is about 100 miles away. The rest don't know how to cook lobster when they do have it, or it's Red Lobster which gives lobster a bad name.

If you get me your prescription for contacts I might be able to hook you up with those. smile.gif I have some connections ya know.

Careful about using Ally though Woo. She set me up with some contacts, but she got me two left eye's and now I'm always walking in circles hmm.gif

Just kidding of course biggrin.gif Last year ally set me up with sunglasses, glasses and some contacts. Saved me some cash and made sure I got what I wanted, not what the salesperson pushed on me.
