Wey Hey it's Humpday and I have got a day off work....didn't even have to do a school run as the 10 year old is trained in the use of the bus lol...Then Mark spoiled it by wanting a lift in...ah well Going to get my haircut soon....then off bike hunting! (ok Bicycle hunting)
The sun has got his hat on and the rain has gone...we had 2 days of much needed rain - we've had none for ages.

Howdy Folks,

Still raining here today. Pretty heavy at the moment. We had 1.8" yesterday.

I'm still trying to adjust to these new progressive lenses bifocals. They told me to give 'em two weeks at the eye dr. Last night I told Ally I was ready to carefully place them on the floor and then grind them into the earth with my heel. She said I need to give them at least two weeks. I thought I was supposed to be able to see BETTER with new glasses.

I have a new customer account to verify and then get set up so I suppose I better get working on that.

I'd give 'em two weeks Web, but if they really bother a lot this week, I'd call the eye Dr. back and have them check your prescription against the glasses.  Last year I had to get bifocals for reading and when I picked up my glasses they really bothered me a lot.  Come to find out, when they made my glasses, they reversed the prescription in the lens....right eye was in left, left in right!!  hmm

The only thing I question about the prescription itself is that for distance, the left eye is really clear, the right is not.

Other than that, it is just the bifocal part that is messing with me. "Oh, there is something on the floor", but I can't just look down to see what it is, I have to bend over enough that its out of the bifocal to see it. I thought it was a calcium deficiency that cuased old people to hump over. Now I'm convinced its bifocals and they're all just trying to see the ground so they don't trip on something.

The "sweet spot" in the progressive lenses is much smaller than I thought it would be. By the time I get something found and cleared up in the bifocal, I could have already had the task done, been out the door, and 1/2 way through lunch with my old glasses.

It looks like I won't be setting up the new customer account soon. The last fradulent order I got made me suspicious because they ordered the biggest of everything, that just doesn't happen very often in real life. This one looks like its a normal sized order. The phone number is a non working number. Also, the credit card address is in PA, but the IP it was ordered from traces back to Tampa Florida.

I'll reply and tell them I need a working phone number to call them to verify a few things on the order before I can continue.

Hi and bye- busy, busy, busy and on Monday there was a fight in my home. I have rug burn on my face and arms, the hubby has a black eye and rug burn on his shoulder and the boy has NOTHING- everything in his room has been destroyed. TMI>>>>>>>>>>>>

Just pray is all I can say and I will return hopefully after 5-5-07! :(

I am a fighter, I will survive. DS suggested that I get everyone on alert for the FFR underground service. E and I will runaway and each of you could put us up for a bit until the trail gets hot and I need to move on!

But I am back in control, all seems to have calmed down and now we just rebuild. I am proud of my hubby and the way he has handled this. It is a long story, but our marriage is strong and the maternal bond weakens further, but I think he sees that finally. We will see.... oh the burdens we carry. I am blessed still...
