Tecumseh's Curse

Part of this article that I didn't read said that Tecumseh's Curse is part of American lore and is taught in history classes, but I never heard of it before now.

I know that I've heard of it but I didn't remember what it was about.

I kind of heard about it.

I remember as a kid hearing about the "zero factor" with the presidents that were elected in years ending with a zero dying. But I never heard all that back story to it. Very interesting stuff.

In the past I always chalked it up to mere coincidence, but knowing the background now I wonder if there might be something to it.

Lord knows Bush is a prime candidate for an assasination attempt hmm.gif Hopefully he'll make it through the term unhurt.

This was taught in grade school when we were learning about the history of Indiana. Tippecanoe and Tecumseh, too.

Venus, did you go to school in Evansville? I went to school less than an hour away from Tippecanoe and had never heard about it.

I don't remember learning about this in school, and as far as I know neither of my girls have heard about this and they're both still in school.

I did recently read about it somewhere online but I don't remember what I was looking for when I came across it.
