I thought about taking some pictures of all the construction vehicles blocking both our driveways(cuz that's all I have going on right now), but we had a really bad time when we got home. Shortly afterwards it looked like it was gonna storm.

Those are nice, Darlene.

I took my assignment seriously, too, although we don't have much of a back "yard" per se - Our property in back is narrow as a "yard", then drops off into nature-city.  But here it is.  You can see some of the back patio in this one:

In this, you can see the corner of the weeping willow, which we planted a few years back:

The weeping willow is so cool.  It grew really really fast, & I love it:

My front yard is much nicer, so I'm cheating & posting it.  Or maybe since this was an "assignment" we should call it "extra credit"?  biggrin

That area doesn't have much growing right now, but I plan on making it my spring project to buy flowers and plant them near the bench, birdbath and walkway!! This is my first spring at my new house, so I'll have to see how I do.

Darlene how fun- like me you seem to be planning the best backyard and landscaping you can! It's work, but rewarding.

LS looks like God has done a great job landscaping the neighborhood and that you have taken great care of the rest! I appreciate you giving a a glimpse into your life!

I promise to get out there this weekend- I have 32 things left to plant!blankstare I bought about 50 new things and they are slowly finding homes. 36 of them are some perennial flowers that will line one area. Anyway- my yard is AWESOME, God has given us some neat stuff and gardens take the cakesmile I LOVE my garden and I get up every morning with E and see what is happening! Always somethingsmile Right now "Charlotte" has a web by our hibiscus and the jasmine might come back on one side but not the other. Oh and the bleeding heart rocked, but a freeze killed the flower.

 BUT the plant died last year when I planted it- after only two weeks, never plant in Julyhmm but how COOL that they came back and right now have spread from two plants to 8! smilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmilesmile
