Swingsets are soooo much fun to mow around!!!  ashamed  I was so glad when my girls got older and no longer played on the one they had.....but I did miss taking a turn on the swings.

Ok, we finally have some stuff happening in our back yard.

This old fashioned lilac bush is blooming right now. My mom loved lilac. This bush flowers every year about Memorial Day. I like to cut off bunches of lilac and tak them to the cemetary for her.

I don't even know what kind of bush this is, but it is in the other corner of our back yard.

And, we have a few iris fowers in bloom:

Thats about it for pretty stuff right now. My wife likes to get annuals and put around the front of the house each year. She's not had time to do that yet this spring.

does the 2nd bush have prickers on it? just wondering because we have a similar bush that we didn't plant and my husband just chopped it to heck because it cuts him when he mows.

ok I am posting pics of my backyard although I have not been able to plant anything because we keep getting cold weather. I am also posting pics of the construction going on in the front yard. This is the first time we don't have all the equipment in front of our house! Oh and I took a pic of the one flower blooming in the front of the house.

it's hard to tell right now, but the trees in the back are apple and pear trees. We are constantly having to go pick them all up and feed the deer in the field.

If I ever manage to get my lawn mower fixed so I can use it, I will try to take some back yard pics. Then again, I might just let it go, install external speakers and start playing jungle sounds. Could even throw Eddie's stripey booty out in the yard and tell everyone he's a gray tiger.

LOL....

when I was a kid on my paper rout there was a guy who's yard was sooo over grown with small trees, tall grass and vines, it was coming out of his yard, through the fence....

that we called it "jungle house"
