Too funny! I know my yard is a nightmare right now. I'm good with it. I'm just waiting on the yard Nazis to start whining. I'm thinking if I pop some pink flamingos in the front yard and let the cats loose, I'll have it covered. Eddie could be a gray tiger... Miss definitely looks rather panther-esque... in a long haired and tubby sort of way. Throw in some monkey sounds and it's all good!

Those lilacs are magnificent! Oh I wish I had some like that!
Yes, that is awesome! I will have to show my mom that pic.

I am glad I don't have to mow Woo's yard! Riding lawn mower?
yes and sometimes he just uses the work equipment like the walkbehind. He figures we let them park the trailer in our yard and sometimes he works on the equipment after hours- so it all works out.

Thanks to JR for posting my picture yesterday. For some reason, I couldn't get it to work.
Anyway... that is my back yard. And yes... I love my porch swing. My dogs do too. So, you never get it by yourself.
The flowers that you see came from a wildflower mix that I gave to my little one for Easter. Together, we planted them the following weekend. It's been really pretty to see the blooms coming in their different stages. I'm hoping that they are perennial enough that they will come back on their own next year.
This was also my first time to plant "Mama's Salsa Patch". I've got tomatoes, peppers, and cilantro growing on the other side of the house. I've already fried up some green tomatoes and am just waiting for the tomatoes to ripen so I can start my salsa.
The only other thing I would like to add to my yard is some flowing bushes like the lilacs, forsythia, and such. I'd also like some peony, gardenia, and jasmine.
Recently, I have discovered there is a chipmunk with anger management issues livving under my back steps. Everytime I open the back door he yells at me so loud you'd think the little bugger would have a heart attack. {{lol}}
