FFR's 4'TH anniversary week-long celebration!

Plans are taking shape for the big anniversary week!

We'll be giving away prize packages throughout the week, and every day we're hoping to have something special lined up for the morning show (which will air ALL week).

Things kick off Monday when JD joins JR in the studio for the entire morning.  It's sure to be three hours of fun banter and of course great music too!  Requests will be limited during this block of time, as we take over the show.

Tuesday is to be announced

Wednesday will feature a LIVE Weird Newz with MzHartz for starters.  The rest of the day is yet unplanned.

Thursday is going to feature a suprise in-studio guest for the entire two hour show.  Again, requests may be limited so we can control the broadcast.  This is the day that is our ACTUAL anniversary.

Friday is to be announced

Uh oh, I may have a good news/bad news situation.

Yesterday, I had an AWESOME interview. I'll be really surprised if I don't get this job. They even said I was at the top of their list, and even considered rescheduling one of their other interviews earlier so they can let me know sooner. (Hopefully I'll know before the weekend.) And, out of all the jobs I applied for, this is the one I really want.

So, the bad news would be that the job starts on the 14th. I'm guessing I'll have a few days of training and won't be able to be in front of the computer. Which would mean no live Weird Newz in the morning.

But, I could do a special edition live evening Weird Newz.

Speaking of evening, is the usual cookout planned? Maybe that could be Friday evening?

we grill out here at the station, listeners grill out at home, we get together at our computers and on air and drink drink drink drink drink, and eat.smile riggs and I crank tunes and talk schmack.
