Except I have to work tomorrow and I never sleep good the day before graduation. Today there is a luncheon at 11, rehearsal at 1:30, and a reception at 7 (that I will miss). Then I have to work 7:30 til 10 am tomorrow and then WOO HOO it is over and 293 kids have new shiny degrees!

We have ANOTHER birthday party tomorrow. My daughter's social calendar is ridiculous!

The pipe fixing by the hubby seems to be holding. But the repair is gonna be big:(

Yay it's Friday! However it will be a busy and interesting weekend. We have several projects to do: clean fish tank, finish painting the bathroom, hook up surround sound, grocery shopping, possibly getting flower beds ready....

All this and most likely a very unhappy teenager. When we met with the ex-wife, the girl thought because no one would tell her -that her mom had a hot date! lol! When she found out later that the date was with us she got mad. Most likely because she knew she was in trouble! This weekend is stage one of reforming the girl. I'm sure we will talk to some while she is over and then on Sunday all 4 of us will sit down and we will tell her what is expected of her. She will either eventually conform or she will hate us for the rest of her childhood. But as I see it, that is her choice.

Wow Woo, I'm impressed that you are included in the meetings about your Step D, you see, when I ask what my BF's Xwife is calling about, I usually get this response.

Oh we have always been a united front. We really mess up the teachers at conference time. It used to be 4 of us at conferences, But since her step dad was killed it is down to 3. However her mother is a push over, but I think she has hit her breaking point.

morning!  didn't get to play yesterday.  dog & pony show this morning.  hope he's not here all day.  tulsa metro is cloudy this morning, but no rain forecasted for the weekend (YAY) and highs in the muggy 80's. 

hope the leak doesn't turn into a major project, ruby.

Morning all!!  It's finally Friday and I'm so glad it's here, though I have a busy weekend on schedule.  Tomorrow morning I have to be at my oldest daugher's school by 7:00 am to get on a bus for a trip down to Port Huron for the day.....she's in two different concert band classes and they're competing for a State Championship title tomorrow.....not expected to get back home until 11:00 pm.  Then Sunday we're going up to Houghton Lake (about a 2 hr. drive) to my brother's for the day and having dinner with him.....haven't seen him for a few months so it will be nice to get together with him.....and on the way back we plan to stop at our cottage to make sure everything's ok.  I'll be racking up some highway miles this weekend, ha.

Morning all!

I gotta spend part of my day helping finish set up a big ol' surprise party for an aunt that turned 50 yesterday.  She has NO idea it's coming!  clap.gif

Tonight at 7ish we're gonna all be hiding in the garage & back yard to scream "SUUUUUUUUUUURPISE!".  I hope her heart can handle it, we don't wanna make it her last birthday hmm.gif

Good day all. Well, we went up to the hospital and they did a cat scan on Brian and didn't find anything (no tumors or anything, but there is a brain in there somewhere). So that's the good news. The bad news is that they still don't know what's wrong, so they're going to schedule an appointment for him to get a CKG.

He's been having trouble for years with his knees. There are times when he'll just collapse and be passed out for a few minutes. A couple weeks ago he was out for an hour. The doctor thinks they may be a form a seizure and not actually anything wrong with his knees at all.

Sometimes. He usually knows when it's about to happen, and it usually happens when he's on his way to sit down because he knows it's going to happen. (If that makes any sense. Kind of like when you have to vomit. You know you have to, you really can't do anything to stop it, and only sometimes can you make it to the bathroom in time.)
