Better known as hump day!

The last teeball game was fun, but the party was canceled cause the trophies and pictures had not arrived! So we will meet next Friday for a team party. E has a meeting with the swim instructor tonight and hopefully starts swim lessons next week.

I should be less busy next week- can't wait!smile

Good day all!

Speaking of driving, my hubby got his learner's permit last night. They do those just like a driver's license now. I remember I got a paper thing to carry around until I got my license. So hopefully tonight I can take him to a big parking lot and let him drive around a bit.

Right now I'm drinking terrible gas-station coffee. I found out that the coffee they make here is half-caf! No way, I need the fully leaded stuff. I need to get a programmable coffee maker and just bring my own in.

Howdy Folks,

We managed to get some more rain overnight. I put down some fertilizer on the lawn hoping it would rain more. Gotta keep that grass growing so I can mow more.

The boy's last day of kindergarten is today. They get out at 11:30 and then he'll be ready for the 1st grade. He seems to have mixed feelings. He is happy to not have to go to school every day but is going to miss his friends.

I have to do a bunch of account shuffling for a customer this morning. I'm just waiting for him to come on I.M to get that started.

Speaking of I.M. ... crazy I.M. lady was back last night. I enjoyed the 2+ week break while it lasted. I've been keeping my status as invisible on MSN. She emailed and asked if I was mad at her. I told her I'm not mad, but I didn't have the heart to tell her that even though I'm not "mad" I am indeed avoiding her.

nice 72* morning in the tulsa metro; looking forward to 85* this afternoon, but it is torpedo season, so there are thunder boomers and torpedo watches scheduled for this evening.

yay for the last day of kindergarten for little web!  hope he has a fun summer!

this is my first chance I have been able to check in! Let me just say that the crap has hit the fan around here and on top of that we have had computer issues. I was locked out of my program and could not do payroll! I am now in the program and am going to try and attempt it. Oh and it is already hotter than heck! They haven't installed our air conditioning yet. High of 87 expected and I work upstairs.cry

I usually don't check in this early, but when I do I must say I really enjoy how everyone stops in to say hi in the morning.

It reminds me of when JD & I worked together at the printing company, 7 AM would roll around and all the daytimers would come in and get their coffee and donuts. The best conversations (and all the juicy gossip) took place between 7 AM and 7:15 AM around the coffee machine. biggrin.gif
