and I might get a three day weekend after all. Emily woke up with her tonsils touching... waiting for the doctor's office to open to get her tested for strep. If it is negative I will take her to school if she wants, if not... then I am off today!

That's not exactly the type of 3 day weekend you want though.

I'm sitting here sipping my caramel latte. Then I have to do that work thing. Then after work, I need to stop by a friend's house to pick up a key and instructions for cat-sitting while they're away. Then we're going to see Pirates!

She's a good patient and not really acting sick at all. She had a runny nose Monday and Tuesday and that was it, last night she sounded hoarse- and now I know why. I would not mind being "forced" to take care of her today! I am thinking in my mind, test result or not I will stay home.

I can't wait to see Pirates, though I am thinking Sunday or Monday will be it for us. We'll see- have fun MZ and that coffee sounds divine!

TGIF on this first official weekend of summer!!

Here's your assignment, a 10 page letter, single spaced, on "Policing in the Today's World", or "The Modern Day, Police Officer"......
OK GO!

Due Tuesday!

The reason I am saying this is because my boyfriend, who is in the police academy has to write one for tuesday..... bleh.gif 10 pages!! I know what I'll be doing this weekend.

allrighty then...  let's get the show on the road!  three day weekend -- yippee!
ball tournament all weekend starting tonight 8pm.  saturday school 8 - noon, for jake, because he is incorrigible -- i won't bore y'all w/ the details.  cemetary trip on monday.   

hope E doesn't have strep!  maybe just spring alergies.  i don't know what has me this week, but my eyes are weepy, red and itchy...

Wow, 10 pages? That would be tough. How about if 10 of us each just write one page? Share the load.

Oh, and its Mostly Sunny and 49 degrees. Supposed to be windy today.

Oh I could write ten pages QUICKLY but I might get your BF placed in an institution!

One of my best friend's became a cop last year. I hate it- she works in a very rough area too. People do not respect authority like they used to and the pay is NOT equal to the job dutieshmm

Policing in today's world in the United States is different from years ago because now, I can learn everything I need to know by watching COPS on Saturday nights at 7:00pm on Fox.

Oh you said two of my favorite things... "caramel latte" and "Pirates!" The critics have been pretty harsh on the movie, but I hope it will be good. I am anxious to see it myself! Have fun!
