I think a lot of people will be mad if it rains here today. Hopefully the thunderstorm that supposed to be coming will hold off until the race is over.
I am SO sick and tired of the Brew Crew being on the West Coast. Besides the fact they play like CRUD anytime they're out there, the games don't end until after midnight our time. That's pretty late to watch a game you're 90% you're gonna lose.
We brought up the kid (Ryan Braun) and he's been everything they said he'd be. In two games he's stolen a base, doubled, homered, driven in three runs. Basically, been awesome. Yet we still lose.
For some reason our offense has turned into nothing but home runs.
Meanwhile ALL of our pitchers other than Ben Sheets suddenly couldn't hit the side of a barn with their pitches.
Lookin' forward to havin' the team come home and HOPEFULLY regroup.
I FINALLY watched Kill Bill last night, (well, part two anyway). What a cool movie. I really enjoyed it and I normally don't like that stuff.
Ordinarily I'm immediately turned off when a director goes all artsy with black & white scenes or tinted lenses, blurs, odd angle shots, etc. But in Kill Bill 2 I actually thought it all blended together well to make a beleivably quirky movie as opposed to feeling forced (like it did in Natural Born Killers for example).
Loved the scene where Uma plucks the womens eye out, I did NOT see that coming (pardon the pun).
One thing though, I know most of you saw the movie. I watched what I thought was the end where Bill dies, and got up, rolled up the movie screen, turned off the stereo, then saw just as I was turning off the projector that the screen said something along the lines of "final chapter" and started showing another scene.

Anyone know what I missed?
hmmm...the last thing i remember happening was Uma on the bathroom floor of a motel room crying and laughing. she then got up, brushed herself off and went to watch cartoons with her daughter. i remember that being the end. maybe i am wrong.
