Gosh did I NEED you guys yesterdayhmm I am going to call an attorney friend of mine when I get to work and get the ball rolling. THis situation is bringing out a side of me that I can't handle. I am becoming mean, vindictive and revengeful- three more reasons for him to go- he is bringing the devil out of me.


I will be busy at work too, which is a good thing. Today is gonna be hard though, I am getting ready to lose all I worked for, I can't afford anything on my salary. I'm am scared, but I know that it will work out, things always do.

Busy is good, that can keep your mind occupied. I had a nice weekend. Had a BBQ on Sunday, today feels like Monday, yesterday felt like Sunday...I'm all confused.

Well I'm back. Sorry about your troubles Ruby. They can't say that you didn't try.

I am not ready to get into my weekend but halfway through some family trouble went down and we came home late Friday night. No one died but there was a big blowup. My husband ended up being more stressed than when we left work. cry
Well I just wanted you to know because I am sure I won't be myself for awhile.

On a positive note- the girl was good and actually didn't take the opportunity to go home early when my hubby offered.

Gosh Woo, I am sorry about your troubles- pm me if you need to vent- otherwise I will just pray.

E has two weeks straight of swimming lessons starting tonight so that will keep me busy. They are from 7- 8. I finally got through to a friend of his that goes to NA. He went with him this am and then they went back to the house and got a lot of his things. He will stay with him. He asked me not to involve the law and that he would continue to give me money to pay the bills. If he screws up, then I make one call and he is forced to do it, so I will be ok. I am just glad that he went to that meeting and at least realized that I need space, that I can't help him and that his issue is destroying me and it's not fair. I am praying for him to heal, but I am done being an enabler. Pray for my kids...

Good morning everyone, I feel so lost around here anymore! Sorry Ruby! Woo!

I hate to say it but I think I'm glad to be back to work! I am so sore from moving and fixing and adding. AC has one more day off so hopefully she can get the second half of the garage moved into the house, umkay dear. wink

About the same health wise. She was insisting she come home Sunday. My wife went and got her Sunday morning. She was happy to spend some time in her own house. They drove through the cemeteries and stuff like that. My wife's brother took her back to the nursing home later in the afternoon. The day really made her tired, but she enjoyed being home for a few hours.

Ruby.... seperation is always a lonly affair, It will take a lot of strength on your part, always know that if you need anything from us (tes I am speaking on behalf of all the FFRiends) just let us know and we will do what we can.


Woo.....It doesn't sound as if it was a difficulty between you and hubby, so try and keep that in mind while you work through this and try to know that if it involves family it must be resolved...


Hope you 2 can think cheerfull thoughts inbetween moments of stress...

Ruby you just need to try to look at this not as an ending but as a beginning of the rest of your life. Its a positive move, keep that in mind.

Rain, rain, rain. It has stopped now, but it simply poured for most of the morning. I suspect we have close to 5" from just early this moring to now. I haven't heard the official totals yet though.

When I went home for lunch, I saw that our flood control canal was about 80% full. I've only seen it higher than that once.

Now there are tornado warnings with spotters confirming tornado on the ground about 90 miles from here.

I used to be a spotter . . . I miss that. hmm.gif

It was a lot of fun. Sometimes really boring, sometimes really exciting.

Back in Lincoln, where we lived for several years, the ham radio operators do the storm spotting. The spotter network in place there is awesome. We even had groups come in from other states to see how the system there is set up. It is very controlled and efficient. Most of the radio and tv stations listened to us on scanners to be able to report activity in real time.

Here, the volunteer  fire department does the spotting. It is a complete joke. We (hams) talked to them to ask if we could help with it but there are some major egos there that think they got it covered. I listen to them when they go out and it is really sad. They just kind of go out and drive around willy-nilly with now real plan. One guy doesn't know what the others are doing. I remember one time, just as it was looking really nasty, the fire chief called everyone in because he was afraid the trucks might get hailed. That makes you feel real safe to know that the spotters are coming back in because the weather is getting bad. weirdface
