Thanks about the avatar. My mom and I took the s to CA for Spring Break. This is a pix I took one evening on the beach. It was a s only vacation and we had a BLAST!! We all agreed it was one of the best trips ever. We stayed in San Clemente which is beautiful. Did the LA/Hollywood/Bevery Hills tour one day, San Diego Zoo one day, and hit the beaches along Hwy 1 the last day (Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, and Dana Point). We're wanting to do San Francisco and Northern California maybe next Spring Break.

Really? That is great! I went when I was twelve- San Diego Zoo, Orange County beaches and Disney. It is beautiful to visit. You need to head east though next time! smile

It is most excellent seeing you this evening.

I am doing very well, thank you. I'd like to apologize for stepping away from the keys as you posted this. I was in the other room collecting music sheets from a filing cabinet and inserting them in to my three ring binder to start practicing songs for Sunday morning. I have three new songs to learn in the next three days.

Is there anything new in your world?

I was just thinking about the time we went to visit our friends near Knoxville about this time of year. I remember how incredibly humid and muggy it was then. I suspect you are experiencing those conditions at this time as well.

I'm going to commence my practicing now, but I will be checking back in again this evening.

Oh, and I like the new avatar!

Hey to Web. Humid would almost be a relief as that indicates moisture in the air. Right now we have the most INCREDIBLE orange full moon in the sky. I think it's due to all the dust and build up and haze. As we say down here in the south, we need a good gully washer!!

Back to my conversation with Ruby. We are actually planning our summer vacation now. I don't know if I've mentioned it before but it's my goal for the (K)ids to see all 50 states before they graduate. We've seen everything from east and south of North Carolina. This next trip is up through Michigan, into Canada, over to Niagara Falls, and down through NYC, Philadelphia, then day trips to NJ, MD, and DE. Coming home then through WV and VA. That will knock out 8 more states for us. My older one and I have already done the DC trip and my little one is going this fall with ex's parents so we don't have to make that stop.

We did NC and SC a couple of years ago in the camper. We went to Myrtle Beach which was awesome. We stayed at a campground right on the ocean. Then came home through Asheville, NC and did the Biltmore. That was definitely worth the stop too.

Far from flawless, but it went better than usual for the first time through. I'm practicing along with a CD and one of the songs ("Revival" - Revival in Belfast) is 9 mintues long. I'm sure we'll shorten it during the service, but it makes for some long practice sessions.
