I was chatting with Woo a couple days ago and was telling her about the awesome cinnamon rolls my mom used to make. She always made a big batch when she did it and it was a 1/2 a day event for her.
I decided I'd try making some myself. I'm not using mom's recipe, she used real cream and all the good stuff for the "goo". I'm just going to frost mine.
Someone periodically brings treats to church for the early morning crew and I've had my share, I thought it was time I take something and I didn't want to just go buy a dozen donuts.
So, I'm giving it a shot. About 10 more minutes of rising and they will go in the oven:
Against my wife's better judgment, I decided to put mini chocolate chips in them too. I think that will be good but she's like "cinnamon rolls don't have chocolate chips in them!" Well, mine will.
