What is the farthest you have been from home?

I went to England, Ireland and Wales in 1986.

I think Cancun was the farthest I've been from home...being in the rainforests of the Yucatan certainly FELT the farthest from home.

Chichen Itza I presume...beautiful Mayan archeological site!I loved it there. If you liked that, you should really go to Tulum next time. Not as big, but a magnificent beachfront ruin.

I wasn't let out of the house much.  hmm

Haha, actually the furthest I've been is Honolulu, HI to visit my sister-in-law quite a while ago.  I want to go back but never seem to have the money to get there.

Even after my trip to Iceland later this month, Hawaii will still be further, although, Iceland "sounds" further!
