Good day all. Extra yawns here. We picked up friends from the airport, but their flight was delayed, so we didn't get home until 1:30.

Morning everyone.  Not much going on here today.  My youngest daughter is home from school today.  The 8th grade left yesterday to go to Cedar Point for two days, but my daughter doesn't like roller coasters and said she didn't want to go with them....so she asked if she could stay home this morning instead of going to school and be put in with the 7th grade to do school work.  Her sister said she'd take her shopping, out for lunch, then to see the new Pirates movie....sounds like they'll have fun.   Wish I could go with them instead of having to go to work.  hmm

He said he was up every hour on the clock. I had a stupid song stuck in my head and I know it was still there at 3am. It was pure torture. cry

I have to husle to get my info entered for payroll since I am still behind but I will be around.

I'm not big on coasters myself Ruby.  I used to ride them just so my friends wouldn't make fun of me, but as I've gotten older I don't care anymore what people say.......I didn't like coasters then and still don't.  My oldest daughter loves 'em......she's going there in 3 weeks with some of her friends.

I love CEDAR POINT. I have a very good friend who lives in Cleveland Ohio, so I've been out there and to CEDAR POINT about 4 or 5 times. Kaisha loves it too.

Here's a picture we took at CEDAR POINT a few years ago when we went!

Howdy,

Not a lot to report. The boy has his first t-ball game tonight at 7:00. That should be fun.

I'm doing some payment processing, trying to help crazy I.M. lady figure out why her computer is blue screening, and waiting to make a phone call to verify an order I received yesterday. The info provided in the order doesn't feel right so I want to call and check it out.

Crazy I.M. lady told me that she's past due on her phone bill and that they will probably turn her off at 11:00am today. That means I will get a vacation until she comes up with some cash. Yay!

I have an eye appointment again at 11:30am. I've been on the drops every two hours for two weeks so this is a followup "how did they work, and where to go from here" kind of thing. The drops are working, if I go much more than three hours after the last use, I can feel the burning coming back. I'll just have to wait and see what kind of ideas my eye doc has for me now.

Carry on.

Both wearin' your Sox swag of course!

I think it is SOOOOO cool how into the Red Sox you guys are!

I watched the game last night, it's so weird to watch a Sox/Yankees game.  It really does feel like you're watching a whole different league (and I don't just mean the American League).

Part of it is bad.  I mean, it feels like watching two rich kids playing with their mercedes or something.  Every guy in the lineup is a superstar.  I don't really like that part.

But the enthusiasm of the fans, the intensity of the rivalry, and the exceptional perfomances by the players in what amounts to an all-star game is downright fun.

Still though, enough with the Yankees / Sox on the national broadcast.  It seems like everytime I turn on the FOX Saturday Game of the week or the ESPN Sunday night game of the week it's the Red Sox, the Yankees, or both!

PS.  Sorry ya lost last night Darlene.  You're on of the rich kids, but I still love you guys more than those evil Yankees!

During the summer, that is just about all we wear.  kaisha and I, we have probably 20 different shirts, sweatshirts, and jerseys, all bearing the words "RED SOX"!!

Back from the eye appointment and lunch.

Mr eye doc said that the drops working proved that the issue is "dry eye". He said to now start slowly backing off on the drops and find the point where it seems that enough is enough and just get used to the fact that the drops will be necessary from now on. He said we could go to a prescription drop that is quite expensive and doesn't work much better than the over the counter "Systane" drops I'm using now. The bottle of "Systane" I got here at our small town pharmacy was $10 and it looks like it will last me about a month. I can afford that. I might see if I can find it cheaper somewhere and buy a bigger supply now that I know I'll be needing more of it.

Yeah, that "Restasis" is the prescription stuff that my doc said is not worth the price when this over the counter "Systane" works nearly as well at a fraction of the price.

He said other factors can make a difference . . . like drinking too much caffeine and not enough water. As I thought about that, I have been drinking more pop than water lately.

restasis it awesome if you can get is cheap, but if the systane works...why fix it??
