Geez, are they not telling us something?

The mayor is on TV warning Milwaukee residents of severe weather and what to do in certain events.

The media has been talking like this is armageddon heading our way.

It's just another Thunderstorm as far as the radar shows hmm.gif

So do I park under a big tree in the hope of avoiding hail damage, or do I park away from the trees in the hope of avoiding a tree falling on my car confused.gif

I don't think ours has either.

I think they're a little freaked out because just the wind today has caused 80 points of damage, so they are worried what happens when the major storms get here.

But the weather folks are saying everything is coming together for a major weather event.  We have warm humid air pumping in from the south, meeting this storm system from the west with a cold front behind it.

I always worry because about four feet from my four living room windows is this four or five story tall HUGE pine tree.  I'm just waiting for the day that falls in my lap while I'm watching TV biggrin.gif

Pine trees have horrible root systems. We have a lot of them here. I see where you guys are under a tornado watch.

Wow, they just explained why they're making a big deal about it.

Most of our state is under a nationial weather service "High Risk" warning.  During an entire summer season the entire country will only have one or two of those a year!

We're gonna get everything Web had yesterday, but it's gonna meet a jet stream of hot, moist air that is supposed to make it explode.

The last area that had a high risk warning wound up with an F5 tornado cry

Well, let's hope that doesn't happen there. I know that meteorologists predicted an active storm season.

I'm just gonna go on record here so if something happens you guys beleive me.

For the last two or three weeks I've had this gloomy feeling that something bad was gonna happen to Miller Park.

So if the roof blows off or something, you guys are all my witnesses that I had a premonition.
