Apple flavored soda?

It's called Manzaniti Sol from Pepsi.  Apple flavored soda.  I just picked up a 20 oz. at the store to try it.

Has anyone else had it?

I haven't tried that brand, but apple soda has been around for a long time in markets like El Rey - it's va ery popular flavor in Mexico. Those that i tried were OK but very sweet, like a Jolly Rancher.

My initial reaction was bleh.gif too. I haven't tried it yet, but I just can't imagine it tasting very good.

Then again, that Jones Soda company has put out sodas flavored like Tuna Casserole, Pumpkin, and even smoked salmon. Some of those were surprisingly tasty!
