Well hi there everyone. I worked aaaaaallllllll day yesterday, Police dept. first, golf course second, so I am extremely tired!  I like working, I like money, but I hate being tired.  yawn.gif

How are the rest of the FFR forum family doing?

Good day all!

I feel for you, I had a busy day yesterday too. The rest of my week is probably going to stay busy. After work tonight, I have to grocery shopping and do laundry, because I'm taking tai chi workshops with Grandmaster William C.C. Chen Friday night, and parts of Saturday and Sunday. And tomorrow afternoon we have to go back up to Indy for my husband's EEG. I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

But today is the first day of summer! We haven't done a theme in a while, we should do summer songs, or something along that line, today.

I am here. Almost caught up but tomorrow I will be away from my desk most of the day for registration. Monday I start learning a new module at work that could potentially change my job for ever! I am excited- I might not have to meet with students in the near future- less headaches for sure.

This morning I had to go buy a plain white shirt for E. They are going to decorate them and wear them Tuesday to visit the fire station down the street that they visit throughout the year. They lost some members and the kids are bringing a banner and some flowers.

Howdy Folks, Welcome to summer.

My wife made it back home safe last night. The boy was certainly happy to see his mom. He was running around like a spaz for the first hour after she got home.

So far, its looking like a normal day for me . . . I like normal.

Good morning one and all.

Surprisingly cool here today, with heavy cloud cover. I think I heard a thunderboomer around 4 AM.

Todays schedule is clean the house and then watch the Cubs play at 1 PM. Like Darlene, I'm finding this summer that Baseball is my addiction.

I wanted to go to bed early last night but got caught up watching the Cubs lose in Texas (that took til 11) and then couldn't go to bed until the Cardinals finished their game against the Royals. That was an extra inning affair that went 14 innings and didn't wrap up til after midnight :/

I just can't get enough of baseball this year. It's the first time in 20 years the games have actually meant something to a Brewer fan and I guess I want to soak every last second of it in.

At any rate, I hope everyone has a great day!

I was just thinking last night during that KC game how much fun I had going to KC to watch the Brewers play at Kaufman stadium.  I need to plan a few more trips, maybe for next summer.  I haven't been to the Metrodome yet and they're tearing that down after next season, so that'll be a must.

good morning!

last night I couldn't get my car to start! I finally did, but had to drop it off at the dealer today to figure out what the hell is up with that! so today I am in a loaner- a big chevy silvarado truck!!

The weather man said it was going to be in the upper 90's today....its 65 and foggy with drizzle. laughing.gif Do they really go to school to do that?
