Well my hubby pulled his sciatic nerve and has been laid up for a couple of weeks. I am hopinghe will take us in the boat tomorrow. It is cloudy today, but should clear up by then. We will go to Morris Island and cookout.

Then tomorrow night we have a friend that owns a firework stand and for $100.00 we have about two hours worth of fireworks. Our neighbors love us! We will sit outside with all of them. One of the ladies will buy poppers and sparklers and we all bring some snacks. It is nicesmile

No new guy Ruby.... I don't have the networking available to find one just yet. But I'm going to a wedding (ALONE) this Saturday 07-07-07 of a co-worker of mine, and I'll just have to start being extra, super, available, to all the guests at the weddings I bartend this summer.

And then maybe.

I still have a lot of loose ends to tie off first before I think of dating again!

I have no idea what we are doing for the 4th. We got to see fireworks at the party we were at on Saturday. Very up close and personal! lol!

We have a highschool friend (single gal) coming over for some bar-b-qued ribs.

The friend will be invited to go with is (but I doubt she will), and we'll go to the park with my dad and his wife, and my brother's family for the city fireworks display. Then we'll go back to our house and set off our own fireworks. We spent about $50 on fireworks last night and my nephew said he's got a few big ones to bring too. It should be fun.

The boy has been excited all week waiting for this day to get here.

We have absolutely no plans. We'll probably head to the stadium tonight to watch fireworks. We have a couple fireworks left over that we'll probably let off in the parking lot tomorrow night.

Tonight is the fireworks at Mt Rushmore....I really want to go but they dont start until 10:30 and last over an hour....then a drive home.....Would you go?

Hey Ally- I would DEFINITELY make the drive. That WAS to have been our summer trip this year until my boss booked the week before I got on the calendar. That reminds me. I think I'll go right now to the 2008 calendar and book 4th of July week. I've already got it mapped out. Up through IA o MN to see the Mall of America. Over to SD to Mt. Rushmore, and then down through NE to get home. That knocks out FOUR more states!! I'm having a REALLY hard time finding a reason to go out of our way to see ND. It's totally out of our way. But... if we don't go then, when else would we do it? I'd for my kids to one day say, they've seen 49 states. That seems rather anticlimactic!

We're going out on the lake this evening with friends to waterski. Tomorrow, we're going with my parents to a little falls and taking a picnic, then tomorrow evening, we're going to church and staying for homemade icecream and fireworks on the church grounds.
