JD,

When you tried to take over the feed you somehow set us on BASIC broadcast.  That's the 100 or so songs I loaded up to the internet about three years ago!

I just flipped it back to Live though, so atleast we'll still have the request system tonight.

sorry riggs I got prompted by a new window I never did seen here before and then my dsl has been kickin out quite regularly. I was hoping that it was true that I could broadcast without being connected to the internet, that wasn't happenin.cry all kinds of bad stuff goin on- I will call my ISP this week and deal with them.

No problem.

I caught it right away.  Even if I hadn't, people could have still tuned in, they jsut would have had a very boring 100 or so songs playing in a loop.

Hopefully they'll fix yer DSL up once and for all.

oh I can't wait to be placed on hold for an hour, explain the problem 4 times, be told the only time available is between 9 am and 2 pm like on wednesday etc etc.
maybe I should just go live in the jungle like JULES! 'cept I don't want no baby croc running off with one of my toes!cry

I'm no fan of TimeWarner Cable.

But I have to say, Cable broadband is WORLDS better than DSL.  I mean, just NO comparison.

It's about 5 times faster and INCREDIBLY reliable.  I might get a short drop every 4 - 6 months now.

With DSL I would get short drops almost daily.  And I even had a DEDICATED DSL line because I was really early getting into DSL.  It was before they started using the same line your phone is on.

aw I had cable before this willy- loved it, was just a bit quicker than dsl. but that still had its issues. I would have kept it, but when I got it aol and time warner cable had teamed up on the deal. then they split off from eachother, and whenever one had a problem, they'd blame the other. I finally cancelled, and neither one wanted the modem back!! aol said "not ours". time warner cable says "no record of a modem, or of you for that matter!" lol so I've got a cable modem here in a box that doesn't exist, on paper at least...smile

then DSL....

now back to cable without the virus(AOL)...

I like much better, and easier to pop a router on too...

lol I am trying to save my coins for enough wire to just run a long connection line off of the T1 service we have a work! I need 8 miles of T1 line (coaxial?) and the deep tunnel schematics from there to my house!smile
oh, and the ok from IT.smile

Bah!  You don't need IT's ok.  They're probably too busy preparing their costumes for the big Star Wars convention anyway.

Sneak me in one night and we'll run a splitter from the T1 line to your house. 

No one needs to know.
