BOSTON -- Mosquitoes in one Bay State community have tested positive for the deadly Eastern equine encephalitis virus, according to the state Department of Public Health, and officials are urging Massachusetts residents to take precautions.One mosquito in a sample taken on July 4 in Raynham, Mass., tested positive for the virus, but no human cases have been detected."These are bird biting mosquitoes, not mosquitoes that bite humans, but it is an early warning that people need to be on alert," said Department of Public Health Dr. Mary Gilchrist.

And if you want pics...that can be arranged...but the wounds are not so icky! Not bad bites but enough to require stitches! LOL I've had worse scratches and punctures from my cats back in Brisbane!
