Speaking of fruiting the beer.

Miller has a new product called Miller Chill. It's beer with a hint of lime and salt.

I meant to pick some up while I was out to test it, but I forgot. I'm so slow no.gif

Hey LS, how'd you get those recorded? Did you carry a digital recorder with you? And if you did don't the artists worry about bootlegging?

The Frank Stallone & AJ Peros were actually done with a videocamera with a really good external mic, because that's all we had handy & I didn't want to miss the opportunity!

The Jill Sobule, Bleu, & Greg Nortons were done with mini-disc recorders (All 3 artists are taper-friendly, so no problem there.)

The rest were done on my little digital recorder.

Peter Tork is totally taper-friendly.  In fact, sometimes at his shows he announces that he is perfectly fine with anyone videotaping, audio recording, whatever.  We can collect them, trade them, even sell them.  The only thing he asks is: If we do manage to sell them and make a lot of money, please let him in on how we did it!  smile.gif  He is so funny.  Talented, cute and funny!  floating.gif

As I'd said once before, the only person who didn't seem perfectly fine about it was Bobby Dall.

And I missed my RATT opportunity - Although I was there with Warren DiMartini out by the tourbus, he was really tired & although nice enough & OK with giving some autographs, didn't want any pictures taken, so I thought I might be pushing my luck if I'd asked for that.  So sorry guys - no RATT one---  Yet!

Actually, I have a lot of shows coming up where I KNOW I can get the artist.  I just don't know if we're gonna have a FFR around.   : (

Evan from Evan & Jaron is supposed to e-mail me something.  And if FFR does stick around, I will remind him of that.  I can also start calling in some favors to get more.  But I don't want to move on that until we know what our status is.

So for now, I've just gotten 'em if I'm face to face with the artist.  (With the exception of Greg Norton's, which my friend was nice enough to get for us.)

This is why I like my artists either on the way up or after they've peaked. Those are the two points in which they're ALWAYS genuinely grateful for the fan support.

That can be the case a lot of times, but then I've met living legends who couldn't be nicer or more down to earth.  What I like about my artists on the way up or down is that I can see them in clubs, and not be raped $100 per ticket at a stadium or something obscene like that.  (You hear me, JBJ?!)  biggrin
