Could it be a more desperate cry for attention?

I was particularly put off by the end where she lists all the celebrities she says "the cat" would like to meet.

If I were Oprah Winfrey I'd say "Sure, I'll have dinner with the cat. I'll send one of my nobody interns to pick her up, and my nobody intern will return her when we're done with our meal. Thanks!"
