Ides of March-Vehicle & Survivor-Eye of the tiger-Common thread?

This is to Lady Strange and anybody else that wants to get involved.
I found out that the songs "Vehicle" and "Eye of the Tiger" have a common factor. It tripped me out.

Answer will follow.

Squonk

Really, you can take a guess.

The lyrics for Vehicle if you don't know...
Hey, well I'm the friendly stranger in the black sedan
Oh won't you hop inside my car
I got pictures, got candy, I am a lovable man
I'd like to take you to the nearest star

So, here's the scoop.Jim Peterik (born November 11, 1950) is an American musician and songwriter, best known as the keyboard player of the band Survivor.Peterik started performing in 1964 with some of his schoolmates in Berwyn, Illinois as The Ides of March created by Larry Milas, "after learning about it in history class," Milas stated. Their hits included "Vehicle," "You Wouldn't Listen" and "L.A. Goodbye" throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s. Between 1973 and 1990 The Ides Of March went on an extended hiatus, during which Peterik founded the band Survivor and co-wrote all of their platinum hits including "Eye of the Tiger", "The Search Is Over", "High on You" and "I Cant Hold Back".
He also began a career of writing collaborations, which resulted in many platinum hits for other artists; most notably "Hold On Loosely", "Rockin Into The Night", "Fantasy Girl" and "Wild-Eyed Southern Boys" for .38 Special and "Heavy Metal" for Sammy Hagar.
