I'm currently using L'Oreal Professionel Volume Extreme. Although I have a lot of hair, it's pretty fine, so a lot of shampoos make it limp. It's also kind of wavy, so it looks terrible when it has no volume. I love the L'Oreal Professionel, but it's pricey at $20 for the little bottle, so I'm looking for something cheaper that works just as well. Any suggestions?
I switch often because my hair seems to get a build up from it. I have fine, lifeless hair but it appears thick because I have a lot of it. I am currently using Herbal Essences Body Envy shampoo. I am just using a knock off of Paul Mitchell leave in conditioner that I use occasionally. And about once a week I use Redken Hair Cleansing Cream Shampoo to clarify my hair due to my well water.
I always like trying new stuff!

I try a lot of different shampoos too. I love the Dove line. My hair tends to "get used to" a certain brand and then it doesn't work as well.
I've heard it's best to switch back & forth because your hair does get "used to" a certain shampoo. I do urge you not to support Dove, and to really think about what you're doing when you purchase Unilever's products.

i keep my hair short because it is very thick and wavy. i don't have time for high maintenance hiar. i use garnier fructis shampoo + conditioner for normal hair as well as the sleek & shine anti-humidity smoothing milk and the fiber gum putty to style. once a week i add a drop of tea tree oil to my shampoo or a capfull to my bathwater to cut the buildup of styling products...

I never really thought about it LS. Right now I am using Aussie products.
Aussie is a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble. Also evil.
I never thought of it when I was younger either, FF. But now that I know - I feel guilty for all those years of ignorance. I just cannot support this kind of torture. Force-feeding poisons to rabbits because they do not have the ability to throw up, and will die more "efficiently." And my favorite - the draize test - putting their heads in stockades so they cannot move and clamping their pretty eyes open and putting the product straight on their eye until it burns out, and they either die from the infection, or are just killed after days of quiet suffering. So much of this goes on, and it's so unnecessary.
It's quick & easy to enter the product in and get their stance on animal testing. Thanks for listening to my soapbox moment!
The bunnies thank you too!
