They've been running one-day promotions about once a month that are just insanely good buys.
A few months ago they had the Buffy The Vampire Slayer BOX SET (seven season, a disc of bonus footage and a book) for $99.00. It normally sells for $279.00.
Yesterday they had the full six season set of Third Rock from the Sun for $99. Today it's back to it's normal price of $209.
I actually picked up Third Rock because I know some people who like the show and thought they might make good Xmas gifts, but at that price I may wind up keeping them.
You're talking less money for a full season of a TV show than you'd pay for a single movie DVD!
They do stick to the midnight cut-off on the one day sale though. That is if they even last that long. The Buffy set sold out long before the end of the day.
