Hello all! Well how 'bout this for a Monday: while sleeping in between hitting the snooze button I was dreaming that I already got up and started my day. This caused me to be quite confused when my real alarm went off again! no.gif It's not good to start a Monday confused.

Howdy folks,

I really didn't want to get out of bed today. I was ultra relaxed when the alarm went off. I'm still having trouble getting going. I feel weak and tired but not really sick . . . its weird.

Its already hot and muggy. The forecast is saying over 95 for at least the next three days. Its only 67 now, but it feels a lot worse.

We're looking forward to getting away next weekend when we go to the Keith Urban concert. My wife is super excited about the concert, I'm just looking forward to doing something different for a couple days. It will also be nice to have some time off from the boy's constant chatter.

I got into a bad mood yesterday, I'm hoping to be able to let it go. I've only missed one Sunday of church in 2.5 years. In planning to be gone this coming weekend, I tried three times to show the sound guy what he needs to know to do what I usually do with the service recording and live feed. Three times, he just kind of blew me off with a "I'm sure I can figure it out" attitude. Ok, fine. I was all packed up and on my way out yesterday and he says "Are you going to write me down some notes of what I need to know for next weekend?" I just said "No, I gotta get out of here" and walked out. I guess he'll either figure it out . . . or not.

I know exactly what you mean, Web, on all 3 counts.

I used to work with a lady who would complain about how long everything took and how tedious a task was. I'd offer to show her a faster way to do it, and she'd always tell me she didn't have any time to learn something new.

I've kind of felt that way all weekend. We stayed up late, I woke up early (compared to how late we stayed up), and had a restless sleep all night. All weekend, and today, I just feel bleh. I have no motivation and just want to sit around and play video games all day, or read all day, etc.

But yesterday we made our anniversary plans for next weekend. Usually we go up to Indy, go to supper somewhere, stay the night at FantaSuites, and then do something like the zoo or a museum the next day. Usually if you take the room tour at FantaSuites, they'll give you a coupon that'll give you a discount if you book your stay before you leave. We were planning to do the tour yesterday, but it was obvious that neither one of us was excited about it. We've been there for our anniversary every year for the past 3 years, and we were ready for something different. So instead we found a room at a B&B in Brown County (we wanted a cabin but couldn't find one available at short notice) and we're going to go hiking and maybe do some shopping at the little shops they have there. It should be fun, I'm excited!

yawn I'm here....I'm here. I went to physical therapy this morning and I am about to start cleaning house. I forgot how tedious it is to clean up after a puppy. I will get pics of him up today.

Thats what we keep saying hmm.gif this one isnt very big but its in an area thats dangerous. Extremely dry and rough country. It rained over two inches on the fire the night it started that slowed it down alot. Its just a matter of time with 100+ degrees and wind for it to take off again.

I actually don't feel that bad. And I got to bed at a decent time.

My living room is just an absolute mess because I'm rearranging it and trying to deal with the huge amount of wires I have running around it.

Plus, Monday always feels icky.  Working from home you wouldn't think that would matter, but it still kinda does.

Mornin', I took today off from work at the PD so I could bartend a golf outing at the golf course, so i was able to sleep in about an hour longer than I usually have to.

Half way on my drive in today to the golf outing the assitant Pro called me on my cell and said they cancelled the outing today.... hmm.gif

The weather is why, it's been drizzling all day, but hell, they've held golf outings before in the rain.... people playing mustn't really want to play at all, if they called it off. So I'm here, and broke ... frustrated.gif
